Fairly clean place with incredibly beautiful view across town. Very comfy beds, incredible location where to explore the historic district. Rooftop restaurant with savoury cuisine🙂

Suite was stylish and the food was amazing. In general the service was very good!

The location was good and unbeatable, for example, a National museum was at a short distance from the hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming the whole time of my stay.

Their staff were discriminatory.

Everything was simply beautiful. Got freshly cooked breakfasts with eggs cooked to order and homemade bread. The rooms were well furnished and had extremely comfy beds. The location was fantastic, easy walk to Christ Church Cathedral. It was also really close to the Stone Town and perfect for travellers who want to experience the old style of Zanzibar and a comfy museum🙂

The restaurant was excellent with excellent food, we ordered tasty dishes. Very central location was a plus.

Shame the bathroom was very old.

Unique accommodation, excellent staff, incredible location in the historic centre of Stonetown. Air-conditioned, unique rooms complete with AC, a style reminiscent of Morocco plus the bedroom. Location near to the entire island. Nice design, GOOD service in the entire hotel. Late check-out.

We spend 2 nights in Zanzibar really good. The room was budget and air-conditioned, with a lovely balcony, Wi-Fi, and climate control. The service here was friendly. The location was incredible, near a National museum.

I had a wonderful stay at a well-located hotel in Stone Town. The breakfasts were delicious and the room was clean with a great shower. The hotel's prime location made it easy to explore the area and there were many restaurants nearby. The staff was helpful and even allowed me to take a shower after I checked out. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Stone Town.

Particularly good and unbeatable location to The Zanzibar Curio shop. Walking distance to local markets and a market across the street...

The Shaba Boutique Hotel in Stone Town truly captures the spirit and essence of Zanzibar. The hotel's authentic decor, infused with the aroma of spices, immediately immerses you in the local culture. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Stone Town, allowing easy access to all the sights and attractions. The rooms, although some without ensuite bathrooms, are spacious and well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast provided is a delightful experience, with a variety of options including fresh fruits, eggs, and pastries.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was absolutely fine.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! First of all, the staff were absolutely fantastic - friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any request. The hotel's attention to detail was impressive, from the beautifully maintained rooms with their lovely balconies to the delicious breakfast served every morning. The location in the city center was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the surrounding area.

Location is ideal for those looking to be away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. The room has a stunning ocean view, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is freshly cooked and ample, with a great variety of choices. The swimming pool is perfectly clean and refreshing, and the spa services are worth a try.

The restaurant, unfortunately, needs improvement. The menu options are limited, and the food is not of the highest quality.
